PAHistorical Background
Training Command (TRACOM) was established on March 17, 1986 as the Philippine Army's primary training and doctrine development hub. It traces its roots from the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and has evolved to become the center of excellence for land warfare training.
Through decades of service, TRACOM has produced highly capable soldiers and leaders who have upheld the highest traditions of the Philippine Army. The command continuously adapts to emerging threats and technologies, ensuring that every soldier is trained to win in the modern battlefield.
Organizational Structure
TRACOM is organized into several key groups and schools that specialize in different aspects of military training and doctrine development:
- Institutional Military Training Group (IMTG)
- Institutional Training Group (ITG)
- Army Doctrine Center (ADC)
- Army Development Studies Center (ADSC)
- Officer Candidate School (OCS)
- School for Candidate Soldiers (SCS)
